• Wells Cathedral School  Full scholarship from age 11.
• Trinity College London  Fellowship Diploma at 17 – its highest performance qualification.
• Royal Academy of Music, London  Undergraduate studies with Christopher Elton (Suresh and Richard McMillan Full Scholarship); guidance from Ng Chong Lim, Hilary Coates and Michel Béroff; mentorship from Stephen Hough, Imogen Cooper, Barry Douglas, Vovka Ashkenazy and Yoheved Kaplinsky.
• May 2026  Completed undergraduate studies, marked by a widely praised graduation recital. Help Musicians Post Graduate Award for continued studies; Help Musicians' 2026/27 Rupert Heggs Award.

Career

• 2026  Solo debut at the Royal Mile International Piano Series, Edinburgh.
• 2025/26  French and German solo debuts, a national feature on France Inter, a recital tour across Switzerland, concerto debut with the National Symphony Orchestra of Malaysia (Petronas Philharmonic Hall), and a return to the Aspen Music Festival as a Robert J. Hurst Fellow.
• 2024/25  American solo debut at the Aspen Music Festival and School as a Polonsky Foundation Fellow; the Kurtág Project at Duke's Hall, London (first complete performance of all ten volumes of “Játékok”); world premiere of Alexander Papp's duo concerto (BBC Radio 3) as an Art Mentor Scholar of the Riot Ensemble.
• 2023/24  Solo debuts at Wigmore Hall (London), Viborg Musikforening (Denmark) and Bentley Recital Hall (Malaysia); UK recital tour.
• 2023 – 2024  Named “Successful Sarawakian from Overseas,” Sarawak International Festival of Music and Arts (2023); Kerr Memorial Prize, Royal Over-Seas League (2024).
• Competitions  Beecham International Piano Competition, Windsor International Piano Competition, Putra International Piano Competition (2020, Ravel's Concerto in G major); finalist, BBC Young Musician.
• Support  Artist of The Keyboard Trust and the Talent Unlimited Foundation; supported by the Hattori Foundation and Young Sounds UK.

Portrait

Bridget Yee's playing unites technical assurance with narrative imagination: the Zuger Zeitung praised her as an expressive personality who stands up for her art with confidence and conviction, while critic Christopher Axworthy described her command of the keyboard as breathtaking in its audacity. Her repertoire spans Haydn and Chopin to contemporary voices such as Carl Vine and Arturo Márquez; an advocate for adventurous programming, she places great masterworks alongside modern compositions, opening fresh perspectives on the familiar and the unfamiliar alike.

Beyond the concert hall, she has performed at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show and – as a recipient of Help Musicians' 2026/27 Rupert Heggs Award – at a Steinway & Sons UK charity recital in support of Help Musicians. For Keresztes Artists, she appeared at AEGERI CONCERTS in October 2025.
